Welcome to the UAV Travel, Laws, & Regulations Wiki!

About Us

This wiki is comprised of a country directory with details of national UAV laws and travel tips. Very often regulatory and customs documents are complex, and extracting UAV specific information can be a difficult and time-consuming task. The objective of this Wiki is to provide a guide on the relevant regulations, additional resources, and links to original regulatory documents to ensure that UAVs are deployed safely and in compliance with national regulations.

Each country entry also includes a travel section where UAV users share their personal experiences in traveling to the country in question and using UAVs in said country. Think of this as a “TripAdvisor” for UAV pilots.

Much of the Wiki’s timely content relies on the UAV community, where UAV users share their personal experiences in traveling to and using UAV in the respective countries. For this reason, it remains a joint effort as an open-source and free-of charge resource.

This Wiki was launched and initiated by UAViators in 2014. In 2015, it was enhanced thanks to funding provided by DG ECHO in collaboration with FSD, CartONG and Zoi.
